Reconciliation (Penance, confession, etc.).... our children generally
receive Reconciliation in scond grade, if they have completed
kindergarten, first grade and secondgrade.
Mandatory Reconciliation parent meetings are:
October 12, 2011 at 7:00 PM in Heidnreich Hall

March 10, 2012 is FIRST RECONCILIATION (in Church)
First Eucharist (Communion)..our children generally receive
Eucharist after first and second grades are completed.
We strongly encouragepreschool and kindergarten as well.
The following are the mandatory Parent meetings, retreat,
and Communion Masses:
October 12, 2011 - all parents whose children are receiving
sacraments this school year
December 7, 2011 - Reconciliation Meeting
January 26, 2012 - Eucharist and the Mass

Confirmation ...is received in eighth grade after at least three years
of classes. There is a general knowledge test, service projects,
class work , interviews that must be done in addition to researching
a saint, choosing and interviewing a sponsor. Relevant dates are:
October 12, 2011 - Mandatory Parent Meeting
October 30, 2011 - Candidate enrollment at 10 AM Mass
December 11/12, 2011 - Fees, forms and service sheet due
January 22/23, 2012 - Sponsor Interviews are due
February 26/27, 2012 - Final Service Hours due
March 25, 2012 - Retreat for candidates, Bishop letter due
March 21/22 - Final service sheet due
April 12, 2012 - Practice with Sponsors in church - 7:00 PM
April 15, 2012 - Confirmation (3:00 PM) Bishop Manz
is presiding. Reception will follow Mass.
